I loved these gluten free ones from Alo Drink. Made without preservatives, artificial colours or artificial flavours, they were definitely a great way to boost my body.

Not only did they taste divine, but they contained lots of health benefits, so when I had a sip I felt I was doing my body a lot of good.

Flavours include original, wheatgrass, pomegranate and cranberry, pomelo with pink grapefruit and lemon, mangosteen and mango, 12 vegetable, honey and olive leaf.

My favourites were the wheatgrass, pomelo with pink grapefruit and lemon and the honey flavours.

The wheatgrass drink was filled with vitamins and minerals as well as essential amino acids and iron (great for me because sometimes my iron levels can be a little low), magnesium, calcium, enzymes and vitamins A, C and E. It had a strong kick to it and gave me an energy boost when I needed one.

The pomelo with pink grapefruit and lemon drink was light and refreshing. Pomelo is native to Southeast Asia and is full of beta-carotene, potassium, calcium, folic acid and iron.

The grapefruit added vitamin A, folate and calcium, and the lemon gave the drink a high level of vitamin C, protein, zinc and dietary fibres. The honey drink included a mixture of magnesium, potassium and minerals and tasted sweet but not overly so.

I was very impressed with these drinks and I would definitely buy them again. Granted, the aloe vera pulp may not appeal to everyone, but I loved it! The recyclable bottles were an added bonus.
